The International Beer Festival, taking place on a 2.2 kilometres distance in Friedrichshain district gives you the opportunity to celebrate summer by tasting over 2,000 sorts of beer over a three day folk festival in the heart of Berlin. From noon till midnight, starting with the 2nd of August, beer aficionados can enjoy delicious beer specialties in a traditionally German ambient. Don’t miss it!

With an impressive background of fireworks and an amazingly beautiful garden called “Giardino della Bobolina”, Viva la Musica is a splendid concert taking place on the 10th of August, 2013, at 7.30, in the mesmerizing Gärten der Welt.  This year, the open-air classic concert features works by Giuseppe Verdi, performed by the choir of the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin among other outstanding artists.

Taking place between the 15th and 31st of August, 2013, the Dance in August festival attracts over 17,000 visitors each year. Focusing on contemporary dance, this astonishing festival takes place in Berlin since 1989. Dance in August not only features amazing contemporary choreography belonging to some of the most reputable artists around the world, but also presentations, talks, workshops and parties.
